Sencha Uchiyama is a green tea from the Tenryu district in Japan. This tea is distinguished by its fresh, grassy aroma and subtle floral notes.
The Uchiyama family tea plantation began cultivating special teas in the 1980s, focusing on the health benefits. In cooperation with researchers and scientists from different universities, different varieties were crossed with each other until one contained a particularly high value of EGCG.
We recommend a brewing temperature of 80°C and a brewing time of 8-10 minutes to extract as much ingredient as possible from the tea leaves.
